FAQ’s Rainbow Lake

When do I need to pick my workshops?

At Nourished Woman retreats you get to choose what you want to do with complete freedom. All workshops are available and you can decide right up to the start time which one you will attend. See how you feel and go where your mood and energy level guides you. (or maybe you will want to take a nap! it’s completely up to you in the moment!)

What is the cost of the Retreat?

Cost is based on room occupancy. There are two choices; 3-4 women per room or 2 women per room. Cost for 3-4 women per room is $410 – Early Bird $360 if paid before Feb. 25th. If you prefer to have only yourself and one other goddess the cost is $510 – Early Bird $460. All prices are plus tax.

What is included in the cost of the Retreat?

2 Nights Accommodation, 6 meals and a choice of a variety of workshops.

What is the cancellation policy?

The cancellation policy can be found here: Cancellation Policy

Is the retreat suitable for beginners?

YES!  What a great way to try lots of various workshops without a long term commitment.

Where do I park?

Parking is free and on site.  You will be able to drive your vehicle to the cabin to unload and then promptly move your car to the parking lot located to the west of the main lodge

What are the accommodations like?

Accommodations are shared in Insulated Cabins that have heat and hydro.  The cabins sleep 12 people, each cabin has 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 4, a shared full bath, a half bath and a common area where you can set up your own chair. In each bedroom, there are 2 adult sized bunk beds including a mattress. You must bring your own bedding! You can find some pictures of the interior of the cabins and additional shower facilities on the Accommodation page.

Are there bathrooms in the cabins?

Yes! There is a full bath and a half bath and there is an additional bathroom facility with numerous showers, sinks and toilets. This is wonderful for those high traffic hours.

Do I need to bring my own bedding?

Yes!  A mattress is supplied but you need to bring your own bedding, a sleeping bag or sheets and blankets. Feel free to visit the suggested packing list page.

Are there showers?  Where?

Each cabin has a shower and there are additional bathroom facilities available with numerous showers, toilets and sinks. Excellent for high traffic times or late at night.

Will there be spare time and what can I do in my spare time?

Your schedule can be as busy or relaxed as you choose! In addition to short early morning classes, there are four time slots throughout the weekend where various workshops will be running simultaneously for you to choose from. Our evenings will be fireside and full of fabulous energy and experiences. In your spare time feel free to explore the grounds of Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake, rest on the covered front porch of your cabin, lounge lakeside or what ever your heart desires.

Do I need to pay for anything once I’m there?

Although all your food, accommodations and workshops are covered in the Weekend Fee, you may like to bring some cash for the festival store which will have a wide variety of wares from yoga supplies to jewellery to natural body care.  The services of the Healing Oasis are paid separately and paid directly to the practitioner. This can be done prior to the retreat. If you choose to book something while you are there (if there are still spots available) you may want to have cash on hand for that.

What happens if it rains all weekend?

Camp Trillium has an array of lovely indoor spaces available should Mother Nature not co-operate.  The weekend will continue as scheduled in warm and dry protected areas.  Please pack for weather conditions.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, near the Main Lodge. We ask that you respect the other attendees and keep your phone on vibrate during workshops and in sleeping quarters.

Can I come alone or do I need to come with friends?

A Nourished Woman Weekend is a great place to come with friends and it is also a wonderful way to make new friends. Whether alone or in a group there will always be something to do and people to meet.  Not everyone is coming with friends and not everyone is coming alone. One of our favourite feedback mentions is that everyone felt so welcome and included.

Will I get a receipt?

If you require a receipt please let us know in advance and we will have that for you on the weekend when you check in.

What should I bring?

You can find the Suggested Packing List here.
